Job description

Miller’s Vanguard, a Specialist Maintenance Provider for Bakery, Catering and Supermarket Access Equipment, are looking for an experienced technician to join their workshop-based team at Mossfield Mill. The purpose of the role is primarily the stripping of Bakery & Catering equipment. Whilst working individually for the most part, the successful candidate will also be part of a strong team, working together to meet targets and maintain quality of the highest standard, providing reliable assets to some of the UK’s leading supermarkets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strip bakery and catering equipment in preparation for refurbishment or reconditioning.
  2. Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard within specified timeframes.
  3. Identify and report any damaged components requiring replacement or repair before handover to the Re-Build Department.
  4. Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maximize efficiency.
  5. Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.

  1. Prior experience working with catering and bakery equipment.
  2. Proficiency in using hand tools and bench fitting techniques.
