For the successful Workshop Service Engineer, our client is offering:

  • Competitive salary £32,000 P/A
  • Opportunity for overtime paid @ 1.5
  • Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The Role: Workshop Service Engineer

Due to growth and expansion, our client requires an experienced Workshop Service Engineer to assist with the Repair, Maintenance and testing of our full range of lorry loader cranes, chain lifters, hook loaders and truck-mounted forklifts

What our client is looking for in a Workshop Service Engineer:

  • Experienced and qualified in working with relevant mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience and knowledge of heavy-duty plant machinery such as FLT, Cranes, and Agricultural machinery - ESSENTIAL
  • Must have demonstrable technical experience in a similar, installation role - ESSENTIAL
  • Must have knowledge and experience of 12v/24v dc electrics, and high-pressure hydraulics and demonstrate good mechanical Knowledge / Ability - ESSENTIAL
  • Welding and mechanical fitting experience would be advantageous as would any electrical experience
  • Is very likely to hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship or similar qualification.
  • Will possess excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Must be computer literate and be able to maintain a high level of Quality, Health and safety.
