U-Drive is recruiting for a positive and proactive Workshop Service Advisor to join our support team at the highly reputable Poole Workshop. Working alongside a professional and close-knit team, you'll be the face of the business in dealing with all customer queries, from quotes and bookings to taking payments. The role involves a 40-hour week on a rolling rota, including some Saturdays.

About The Role

As part of our Workshop Service Advisor team, you'll handle day-to-day customer interactions, both face-to-face and through formal communication channels (phone & email). This role involves liaising with Head Office departments, branches, and the general public.

Core Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls, providing exceptional customer service
  • Respond promptly to enquiries via phone, email, and in person with a friendly and professional tone
  • Manage MOT bookings efficiently, optimizing lane utilization for maximum efficiency and profitability
  • Input data accurately into the booking system
  • Process invoices and payments
  • Provide quotes based on customer requirements
  • Ensure Job Cards and Service Maintenance and Repairs are raised and processed correctly and timely
  • Order parts from approved suppliers, tracking costs and availability
  • Maintain Health & Safety records, ensuring compliance
  • Keep the office and reception area clean, tidy, and customer-friendly
