The Role
As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be based within a busy depot workshop, responsible for servicing, repairing, and preparing a wide range of plant machinery including excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, rollers, and small tools. Your work will ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for hire.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a plant fitter, workshop engineer, or service technician within the plant hire, construction, or heavy equipment sectors. You should have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, along with the ability to diagnose faults and interpret technical manuals. Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent), a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a full UK driving licence are desirable.
