Responsibilities of the Workshop Plant Engineer include:

• Carrying out preventative maintenance on the company's construction equipment
• Diagnosing faults quickly and effectively to minimize downtime for clients
• Providing solutions and support to the hire desk as needed
• Carrying out repairs efficiently according to manufacturer guidelines
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

You will work on a large fleet of modern construction plant machinery, including some tools, powered access, and plant hire equipment. Product and equipment training is available, along with career development opportunities.

This role is highly reactive, supporting the company's daily needs for service, maintenance, and repair of construction equipment such as excavators, dump trucks, diggers, dozers (up to 13 tonnes), telehandlers, generators, rollers, pumps, breakers, and more.

Ideally, you will have previous experience as an Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Workshop Plant Engineer, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician. We may consider trainee engineers. Experience with PAT testing, electric/diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
