Job summary

A local vehicle maintenance company is seeking a full-time experienced workshop mechanic for their Kidderminster depot. The role involves servicing and maintaining smaller fleet vehicles and customer vehicles, preparing for MOTs, and ensuring a clean and hazard-free workshop. Ideal candidates will be skilled with modern diagnostic equipment and possess strong communication skills. Training on internal systems will be provided, with MOT tester qualification seen as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Full-time experienced mechanic required.
• Ability to carry out servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
• MOT tester qualification is an advantage.

Job description

We require a full-time experienced & qualified self-motivated workshop mechanic based at our Kidderminster depot.

Duties will include carrying out servicing and maintenance of our smaller fleet vehicles and customer vehicles, including repairs, MOT preparation and ensuring the workshop is kept as a hazard free, clean environment.

You must be converse with all modern diagnostic equipment, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure using your own initiative. You should be organised and able to use a computer. training will be given to use our internal systems where required.
