Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and professional Workshop Controller to join the team. The central role is key to the smooth running of our workshop operations, upholding the highest standard in service delivery, and supporting both our technical and customer service functions.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years\' experience in a similar position within a high-performance or bespoke automotive setting. You will be highly organised, detail focused and possess strong technical knowledge of the automotive aftermarket - particularly with Porsche vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily workshop scheduling and workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate directly with clients via in-person meetings, phone calls and email to deliver updates, technical advice and service recommendations.
  • Co-ordinate with technicians, engineers and suppliers to ensure timely project completion and uphold quality standards.
  • Manage detailed job costing, facilitate parts procurement and oversee inventory control.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols and maintain high standards of health and safety within the workshop.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the workshop team, ensuring clear communication and consistently exceeding client expectations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years\' experience in a workshop controller or similar role within a performance, luxury or motorsport-orientated automotive environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering excellence.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and build lasting relationships with high-end clients.
  • Solid technical understanding of automotive systems, with specific experience or a keen interest in Porsche vehicles.
  • Proficient in using workshop management software and standard office applications.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced engineering-driven team environment.
Desirable qualifications and attributes
  • Formal qualifications in automotive vehicle maintenance and repair and/or automotive management.
  • Experience with Techman workshop management software and Shopify E-Commerce platforms.
  • Previous experience within the automotive aftermarket or performance tuning industry.
  • A genuine passion for motorsport and high-performance vehicle tuning.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit, high performing team.
