Are you an experienced Workshop Manager from an automotive, plant or agricultural background? Do you want a leadership role where you can stamp your mark on a team, drive improvements, and play a vital part in keeping emergency vehicles on the road for the county?

Based in Didcot, this organisation plays a critical role in supporting the NHS ensuring that every vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready to respond when lives are on the line. This is an organisation that invests in its people and its facilities. You'll be managing a highly skilled team of supervisors, administrators, engineers, and parts specialists within a modern, well-equipped workshop.

The Role:
  • Lead and develop a team of supervisors, administrators, vehicle technicians, and the parts department
  • Oversee workshop operations, scheduling and allocation of work to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Drive preventive maintenance programmes to keep emergency vehicles ready for service
  • Manage budgets, resources and compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain high levels of service satisfaction
The Person:
  • Proven leadership experience in a workshop environment (automotive, plant or agriculture)
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
