Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic for the Derby workshop of our Flex-E-Rent division. You will perform maintenance and servicing on rental vehicles, ensure systems pass safety checks, and log all work digitally for the day’s end.

A proactive, detail-focused mindset is essential to keep our fleet reliable and compliant. The role offers overtime, a clear 5-stage training path to Master Technician level, and a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekend

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
Experience working with HGVs or LCVs.
A Full UK / Irish / EU Manual Driving Licence.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance tasks & servicing on Rental Vehicles.
Test and check that systems and components are safe, secure and working properly.
Identify and repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
Test drive vehicles where permitted and correct driving license is held.
Record work carried out on computer systems accordingly and accurately as you go, submitting paperwork to the Workshop Manager/Lead Tech at the end of each day/shift.
Complete jobs in full before the end of your shift or carry out job handover as required ensuring the vehicle is left in a safe condition with necessary safety signage present.
