Workshop Hydraulics Technician (Drilling Equipment)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Workshop Based + Training + Overtime (1.5x) + Days Only + Monday to Friday

Are you a Hydraulics Technician with experience in fault-finding and troubleshooting, looking for a workshop-based role with ongoing training and development to progress your career within an expanding company?

With multiple sites around the world, this company is in a great position to build on their sustained growth, as they're now opening new divisions. They specialize in equipment repair and installation for the oil and gas industry, with a great reputation for customer service and employee development.

You will be responsible for the fault finding and maintenance of hydraulic aspects of specialist drilling equipment such as top drives, mud pumps, roughnecks, and travelling equipment. This role is predominantly site-based, with occasional travel to client sites. Some offshore work will be required every few months. This is a day-only role between the hours of 8 and 4:30.

The Role:

  1. Fault finding and maintaining hydraulic components
  2. Working with drilling equipment - travelling equipment, top drives, mud pumps, roughnecks etc
  3. Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:30
  4. Optional overtime, paid 1.5x

The Person:
  1. Hydraulic Technician or similar
