Job description

Role: Workshop Forklift Engineer

Contract: Permanent - (45 Hour)

Location: Cumbernauld Depot

Salary: £34,730 - £39,496

The Impact you will have:
  1. The service and maintenance of diesel, LPG, and electrical materials handling equipment.
  2. Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and pre-delivery inspection of forklift trucks.
  3. Maintaining a clean and orderly working area, including common areas.
  4. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and workshop rules.
  5. Completing job cards and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered.
What will help you to excel in this role:
  1. Experience working on cars, forklifts, plant equipment, cleaning machines, powered access, HGVs, or similar, along with relevant technical qualifications.
  2. Previous experience in a workshop or field-based position.
  3. Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles.
  4. The ability to work independently and under pressure.
  5. The ability to manage and prioritize workload.
