Job description

Responsible for maintenance, repair assembly and disassembly of downhole tooling (Thru Tubing, WBCU and CF) Principal Accountabilities: Maintain and repair downhole tooling for TTS, WBCU, R&S and CF.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining all thru tubing equipment.
  • Assembling and disassembling new and existing fleet of tools.
  • Cleaning/blasting and paint tools.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of all equipment in workshop.
  • Carrying out pressure testing.
  • Ensuring the workshop area is tidy and adheres to company policies.
  • Fault finding and determining proper solutions.
  • Reporting any defects/issues and safety concerns to Operations/Management Team.
  • Forklift activities as required, providing the correct training/certification has been received.
  • Delivering equipment to customers.
  • Assisting with stock count and tool traceability.
  • Ensuring all lifting equipment being used is within certification.
  • Filing away certification and delivery tickets when applicable.
  • Carrying out daily tasks in a safe and effective manner.
  • Attending all assigned training.
  • Cross training on products like plugs and packers.
  • Pro-actively work towards building competency portfolio.
  • Assisting in training and mentoring of trainee’s.
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out other duties as required.

Job Knowledge and Experience:

  • Downhole tooling background preferably in wellbore intervention.
  • Mechanical background with goof aptitude in hydraulics with the ability to problem solve complex solutions.
  • Good verbal, written and Excel skills essential.
