Job Title: Workshop Foreman
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 Basic (Salary is Negotiable DOE), Overtime Available, Company Van, Laptop, Company Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, 25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays.

Job Description:

We have a brand new opening for a Workshop Foreman to come onboard a highly successful and continuously growing, national rental company based in Bedfordshire.

This is an organisation that pride themselves on their market leading reputation, and high standards of customer service.
Within the role of Workshop Foreman, your time will be split between managing a team of technicians, overseeing the running of a busy workshop, and offering hands on technical support fixing powered access equipment.

This is perfect opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking to step up into a Supervisory role, or someone with managerial experience seeking a new challenge within a thriving business.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Manage the daily workshop operations, ensuring hire items are inspected, cleaned, tested and repaired to ensure availability of items is optimised and breakdowns are minimised.
• Seek to continuously improve processes to grow the business, drive improvements to the customer experience and improve efficiency.
•Manage the ordering of parts, ensuring efficient stock levels are maintained and repairs are not delayed.
• Directly manage the workshop team including performance, absence and overtime.

Requirements of Role:

• Previous engineering experience working on Powered Access Machinery
• Hold a formal Engineering Qualification / Technical Background
• Ideally have supervisory experience or leadership capabilities
• CAP Licence Preferable
