Responsibilities of the Workshop Foreman to include:

  • Support and assist with leadership and technical advice to engineers.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance to the company's construction equipment such as diggers, dumpers, excavators and rollers.
  • Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to ensure minimal downtime for your client.
  • Workshop staff management.
  • Carry out repairs efficiently and to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

You may have worked as a Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Plant Technician, Plant Mechanic, Mobile Plant Engineer, Workshop Plant Engineer, Workshop Foreman, Agricultural Engineer or similar. You must hold a full UK driving license. You will have previous experience working on a range of plant equipment including JCB, Volvo, CAT, Bomag and other related manufacturers.
