Job summary

A leading provider of Plant Hire and Haulage services in the UK is seeking a Plant Fitter in Bradford. In this role, you will maintain and repair construction plant equipment, ensuring safety and functionality. The ideal candidate will have experience with plant machinery and hold relevant qualifications in Heavy vehicle/Plant Maintenance. This is a permanent position offering an opportunity to be part of a growing team.

Qualifications

  • Must have prior experience working on Plant Machinery.
  • Qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent) required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Fault Finding, Diagnostics and maintenance on a variety of plant equipment.
  • Routine maintenance of heavy plant machinery.
  • Carry out safety inspections.
  • Service, maintain and fit petrol and diesel engines.
  • To record information accurately.

Overview:

Unify are delighted to be recruiting for a Plant Fitter to work from Bradford. You will be joining a leading provider of Plant Hire and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth.

As a Plant Fitter, you will be tasked with maintaining and rectify faults on construction plant equipment, including diagnosing faults, repairs, and servicing.

What do I need?

  • Prior experience working on Plant Machinery
  • Qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Effective planning and organization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
