A leading brand in the supply and maintenance of plant machinery. This company offers a service and maintenance package to multiple clients for Heavy Plant Machinery mainly working on Telehandlers and Roto.

What is on offer for the Workshop Fitter?

  • 40,425k Salary
  • 1.25x Overtime
  • 25 days holidays plus the bank holidays

Main Responsibilities for the Workshop Fitter

VOR Engineer covering the below on various plant equipment:

  • Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
  • PDI, LOLER Inspections
  • Warranty repairs.
  • Damage repairs.
  • Clear and detailed reporting of work carried out and repairs necessary on engineer iPad
  • Manage all above to ensure 100% recovery.

Work experience requirements for the Workshop Fitter:

  • Background in heavy plant, material handling, or automotive with a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong background in Plant industry preferred.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent preferred.
  • CSCS card holder is preferred
  • Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
  • Preferred dealer experience but not essential
