Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport Company. We are looking to recruit LGV Fitters, to be based at our Castleford Workshop.

Working shift patterns 06:00 – 14:00 and 12:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and then every other Saturday 06:00-12:00. 40 hours per week guaranteed, overtime paid there after.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• LGV 1 licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles and trailers.
• Work on Tank, Refrigerated and curtainside trailers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and reliability of operations.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and trailers.
• Working on a variety of trailer and vehicle types to include Tank, Refrigerated and curtainside.
• Previous mechanical experience would be preferred and an LGV 1 licence is preferred but not essential.

Full driving licence essential. The appropriate training and personal protective equipment will be supplied. Working for us you can expect to develop working relationships with your team, alongside other staff members that strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.
