Job summary

Bauer AG is looking for a Workshop-based Technician in Rotherham to join their team. The role involves commissioning, repairing, and maintaining BAUER equipment, both on-site and in the workshop.

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of modern mobile hydraulics, relevant industry qualifications, and strong communication skills. An attractive remuneration package and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of modern mobile Hydraulics and Electrics/Electronics.
• Relevant industry qualifications and a current CSCS skills card.
• Previous experience with overhaul and repair of heavy plant gearboxes/planetary reductions.
• Good literacy and IT skills to read and produce technical documents.
• Flexibility to work out of hours and travel around the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, fault finding, repairs, rigging/de-rigging of BAUER equipment.
• Liaise with customers and the After-Sales Team to rectify faults.
• Complete inspection, repair and overhaul of heavy gearboxes.
