Workshop Facilitator – Motor Vehicle

Salary: £26,967 to £28,609 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Castleford College

We have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Facilitator in Motor Vehicle to join our team, where you will support leaners to succeed and achieve their highest potential.

As a Workshop Facilitator in Motor Vehicle, you will oversee the resources and manage the workshop environments, ensuring they are well-maintained and conducive to learning. You will have the opportunity to support both students and teaching staff in delivering the Motor Vehicle Curriculum.

Your daily tasks will include assisting teaching staff with resource preparation, conducting demonstrations, and supporting the assessment of learners during practical activities. A key part of your role will also involve upholding health and safety standards in the workshop, ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.

We are seeking a motivated person who is enthusiastic about working with young people, adults, and employers, has up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise, a passion for the Engineering sector and is an excellent team player.

As a Workshop Facilitator in Motor Vehicle you should have:

  • Level 3 qualification in relevant vocational area
  • GCSE A*- C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Experience in relevant industry/ education setting
