Job summary

Miller’s Vanguard, a Specialist Maintenance Provider for Bakery, Catering and Supermarket Access Equipment, is seeking an experienced technician to join the workshop-based team at Mossfield Mill. The role focuses on stripping equipment for refurbishment and reconditioning.

You will work largely independently but also contribute to a strong team to meet targets and maintain the highest quality assets for UK supermarkets.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with catering and bakery equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and bench fitting techniques.
• Demonstrated integrity and a strong drive to achieve results.
• A conscientious and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Strip bakery and catering equipment in preparation for refurbishment or reconditioning.
• Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard within specified timeframes.
• Identify and report any damaged components requiring replacement or repair before handover to the Re-Build Department.
• Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maximize efficiency.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.
