Job summary

Hydro International, Nottingham-based CRH company, is seeking a Workshop Engineer to keep workshop operations efficient, support stock and stores management, maintain equipment, and ensure orders are processed safely and on time. Qualifications

• Workshop, engineering, stores or warehouse experience.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Forklift licence and water industry experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day workshop activities and workload priorities.
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
• Using ERP systems to maintain accurate stock and operational records.
• Maintaining workshop equipment, tools and facilities.
• Managing consumables and supporting inventory control.
• Promoting a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and business objectives.

The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping workshop operations running efficiently, supporting stock and stores management, maintaining equipment, and ensuring customer orders are processed safely, accurately and on time.
