Workshop Engineer – Heavy Plant & Equipment - Lutterworth

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Service repair and maintenance of heavy plant/construction equipment
  2. Identify mechanical issues with the use of your technical knowledge and computerised systems within a workshop environment
  3. Ensuring software updates are installed
  4. Accurate completion of paperwork
  5. Ordering and returning parts

Experience required:

  1. Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering, HGV maintenance or similar
  2. Have extensive mechanical experience
  3. Have a comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and electronics
  4. Can work to a high standard of competence, independently
  5. Practical repair and maintenance experience on heavy construction plant
  6. Proven technical competence on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electronics
  7. Ideally welding, fabrication and line boring experience
  8. Hold a full UK Driving Licence
