Workshop Engineer

My client is an established Designer and Manufacturer of Aircraft refuelling vehicles and the relevant support equipment. They are currently looking to hire a Workshop Engineer to bolster their office team in Witney, Oxfordshire. This role would suit someone from a Workshop Assembly background. A HGV Fitting or an armed forces background would be ideal, along with being based within a commutable distance of Witney.

Workshop Engineer Job Overview

1. Assembling all Mechanical components on Aircraft refuelling vehicles
2. Undertaking fabrication work as required
3. Working from Engineering drawings and schematics to ensure vehicles are built to spec
4. Working on a range of Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic systems
5. Undertaking inspection and repair work as required

Workshop Engineer Job Requirements

1. Proficient in a wide range of Hand and Power Tools
2. Experience in Pneumatic and/or Hydraulic systems
3. Able to interpret Engineering data such as drawings and schematics
4. Basic fabrication skills
5. Any experience with aircraft refuelling vehicles/systems would be highly beneficial
6. Based within a commutable distance of Witney

Workshop Engineer Salary & Benefits

1. £15.00 - £16.50 per hour DOE
2. 40 hours a week, 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 14:00 Friday
3. 31 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
4. Monthly attendance tool bonus
5. Pension
