Find. in Newcastle is seeking a proactive Electrician – Workshop Technician to support electrical training delivery for apprentices in a fixed-site role.

The position offers a structured path from the toolbox into a training environment, without heavy travel. You will prepare and maintain workshop equipment, set up practical sessions, assist tutors during lessons, conduct basic maintenance and stock control, and uphold strict health and safety standards to ensure a safe, productive learning

Qualifications

• Background in electrical or multi-trade environment.
• Experience working hands-on with tools, equipment and workshop setups.
• Organised, reliable and able to support a training environment.
• Open to candidates from industry looking to move into a more stable role.
• Health & safety awareness essential.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of electrical training to apprentices.
• Prepare and maintain workshop equipment, tools and materials.
• Set up practical sessions for tutors and learners.
• Assist during practical lessons and ensure a safe working environment.
• Carry out basic maintenance, repairs and stock control within the workshop.
• Based full-time at one site in Newcastle.
