Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm; 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am - 1pm

Salary: Up To £43,300 Including OTE

An exciting opportunity has become available at our Volkswagen site. We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team in our impressive facility. This role is ideal for a talented and enthusiastic Workshop Controller looking to advance their career with VW. You will supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices and proactively review and prioritize the daily workload.

You will be a crucial part of our business and the Aftersales Department, reporting to our Aftersales Manager who will support you with the necessary tools to perform at your best. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to undertake brand-specific training, enabling you to progress within the JLR brand and the motor trade industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of the workshop, ensuring technicians meet their targets, assisting the Aftersales Manager in providing excellent service, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through quality checks.

• Ensure all working practices comply with company, DVSA, health and safety, and OEM policies.
• Ensure all service work is completed correctly, competently, and on time, with customer satisfaction as a priority.
• Maintain relationships with vehicle manufacturers, support technicians during repairs, and uphold high standards within the workshop.
• Coordinate with colleagues and other departments to deliver top-quality customer service.
• Schedule work considering workshop targets, job complexity, and parts availability.
• Assist with technical challenges and support the team, including writing technical reports.

We are looking for someone friendly, confident, and enthusiastic. The ability to work as part of a team and a full valid UK driving license are essential.
