Workshop Controller

Location:
Taplow
Salary: Up to £60,000
Hours: 45 hours per week

Join a leading bodyshop as a Workshop Controller, managing day-to-day operations to deliver excellent customer service, achieve site profitability, and support a high-performing team.

About the Role

• Oversee the full customer journey, ensuring repairs are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Manage resources, financial targets, and customer relationships
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company processes

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver financial results in line with agreed budgets
• Optimise site resources and costs to maximise profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with work providers and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, PAS125, and manufacturer standards
• Lead and manage staff through structured performance management processes
• Provide market-leading customer service from booking to vehicle return

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in workshop or bodyshop management
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with Audatex is highly desirable
• Familiarity with management systems and HR policies
• Ability to interpret printed estimating packages (preferred but not essential)
