An exciting opportunity has become available here in our Wearside Audi site, as we’re on the lookout for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team in our impressive facility. It is the perfect opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to advance their career with Audi.

As a Workshop Controller, you will supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices and pro-actively review and prioritise the daily workload.

You will be a crucial part of our business and the Aftersales Department, reporting to our Service Manager Gareth, who will provide ongoing support and tools needed to excel. You will also have opportunities for brand-specific training to progress within the Audi brand and the motor trade industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring technicians meet their daily targets, assisting the Service Manager in providing excellent customer service, and achieving profit and retention goals. Maintaining high customer satisfaction through quality checks will also be part of your role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, DVSA, health and safety, and OEM policies.
• Ensure all service work is carried out correctly, efficiently, and on time, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with vehicle manufacturers, support technicians during repairs, and uphold high standards within the workshop.
• Liaise with colleagues and other departments to deliver top-quality service.
• Schedule work to meet customer needs, considering workshop targets, job complexity, and parts availability.
• Assist with technical challenges and support the team, including writing technical reports.

Qualifications

We seek a friendly, confident, and enthusiastic individual who can work well as part of a team. A full valid UK driving license is essential due to the role's nature.
