Join T H White as a skilled Administrator supporting our busy Stockbridge depot. If you have a passion for organisation, accuracy, and helping teams operate smoothly, this permanent, full-time administration role could be your next career step in a family-run business with a 193-year legacy.

As a business we supply and service market-leading machines to Agricultural and Groundcare customers across the region. As an Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our depot operations, supporting our Depot Manager and Service Technicians to ensure our workshop runs efficiently.

Our business is built on integrity, care and commitment, and we are looking for an experienced Administrator who shares these values and is ready to grow with us.

  • This is a full-time role
  • Mon - Thurs 08:00-17:30 / Fri 08:00-17:00
  • (1 hour for lunch)
Key Duties Will Include

You’ll be based in our busy engineering workshop. Its a really important role for us, where your work will make an impact. We offer a friendly, welcoming environment and once you’re trained you’ll be provided with the autonomy to manage a wide variety of daily tasks including:

  • Supporting the workshop operations including creating job cards for our Technicians and creating invoices.
  • Checking and amending time approval for Technicians.
  • Answering service calls, updating customers on progress and obtaining authorisation for work.
  • Distributing workload to our technicians.
  • Parts administration.
  • Assisting with a variety of additional depot operational tasks.
The Ideal Applicant
  • A demonstrable track-record of similar, or transferable administration work.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal computer software packages.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A process-driven approach with a high level of efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills – with the ability to liaise effectively with both customers and colleagues.
  • Live within a reasonable commute from our depot, (Salisbury Road, Stockbridge, SO20 6JR), with the desire to work a full-time permanent role on site.
  • Have the flexibility to provide occasional ‘out of hours’ telephone cover during harvest season.
