WORKS SUPERVISOR

FRIDAY TO MONDAY WEEKEND SHIFT

Sir Robert McAlpine has secured a prestigious contract to construct a state-of-the-art Battery Manufacturing Facility. The initial phase of the project includes the design and construction of a new 15GWh lithium-ion battery facility, ancillary buildings, and site-wide external works.

The Works Supervisor role

This is a weekend shift role working Friday to Monday on a weekly basis.

A member of the project team reporting to the Works Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating work operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety during both pre-construction and construction phases.

The role requires effective communication with all project team members to ensure full responsibility for achieving all aspects of Build Sure.

• Manage and direct construction logistics, plan material orders, and coordinate sub-contractor and plant availability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures across all functions, including quality, health and safety, and environmental standards.

Your profile:

• Extensive experience in the Construction Industry.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders within a live environment.
• Proven experience supervising on-site works.
• Good knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• A comprehensive understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Ability to assist Package Engineers with procedures, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Inspection & Test Plans, FV, and quality processes.
