Sir Robert McAlpine has secured a prestigious contract to construct a state-of-the-art Battery Manufacturing Facility. The initial phase includes the design and construction of a 15GWh lithium-ion battery facility, ancillary buildings, and external works.

The Works Supervisor Role

Reporting to the Works Manager, you will organize and coordinate works operations to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and safety during pre-construction and construction phases.

You will communicate effectively with the project team to achieve all aspects of Build Sure, including:

  • Managing construction logistics, materials, subcontractors, and plant availability.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and company procedures related to quality, health and safety, and environmental standards.
Your Profile
  • Extensive experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a live environment.
  • Proven supervisory experience on-site.
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  • Ability to assist Package Engineers with procedures, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and quality processes.
