About The Role

We are recruiting for several Regional Planners/Schedulers to plan and manage essential jobs for our Tankering Operations Division at Southern Water, which operates 24/7. You will work at the client's head office in a team to effectively manage and prioritise the work of the Tankering services throughout the Hampshire and Sussex regions.

Working pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off

Working hours: 6am - 6pm

Salary: £28,000-£29,000

Location: Durrington

Responsibilities - But Not Limited To
  • Planning, scheduling, and execution of works from initiation to completion.
  • Supporting the management of resources, ensuring proper allocation and tracking.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Ensuring permits for roadworks are properly applied for, scheduled, approved, and compliant with local authority regulations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across teams and stakeholders, including field teams, operations, managers, and clients.
  • Monitoring timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Tracking project budgets and controlling costs to meet financial goals.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Aiming for 100% quality compliance in auditing call back tasks and related requests.
  • Using systems to schedule work and communicate with stakeholders, ensuring compliance.
  • Adhering to procedures and identifying areas for improvement within the team.
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with engineers, the wider network, and clients.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Team player.
