• Proven experience managing significant temporary works on projects.
• Deep understanding of engineering principles and subcontract management.
• Ideally MICE or MCIOB certified.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to join the Southern Renewals Enterprise. The project will span 5+5 years across multiple schemes on Network Rail's Southern Route (Kent, Sussex & Wessex). You will be responsible for managing the coordination of Temporary Works Design & Engineering across several concurrent schemes at different stages, including projects in Buildings, Structures, and Earthworks & Drainage.

If you have experience in Temporary Works Coordination, Engineering, or Design within the civil/rail industry, VolkerFitzpatrick would like to hear from you.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Technical qualification (e.g., Degree in Civil Engineering or HND)
2. Proven technical and organizational skills
3. Ideally MICE or MCIOB
4. Experience managing significant temporary works on projects
5. Deep understanding of engineering principles and subcontract management
6. Experience in innovation and value engineering through design and standards management
7. Experience in civil engineering
