Works Delivery Manager - Required for our client based in Wigan. The Works Delivery Manager will work on various projects within the Rail Industry, collaborating closely with management and Network Rail. Projects include Protection Works, Station fit outs, Earthworks, Canopies, Platforms, and more. This opportunity has arisen due to successful bidding on numerous frameworks.

Position Overview

• Working on a framework contract on LNE & LNW for Network Rail
• Projects include maintenance, design, and build schemes
• Managing multiple Network Rail and infrastructure contracts
• Requisitioning major items of temporary and permanent works, materials, subcontractors, plant, and equipment
• Achieving contract delivery within delegated authority
• Reporting to the Contracts Manager, working across the Eastern Region, based in Sheffield

Requirements

• HND/HNC in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering Construction within a railway environment
• Experience delivering high-value (£30k+) works and structures in the Rail sector
• Railway Safety Training (PTS)
• Experience managing a Framework
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Strong understanding of design drawings
• Commercial awareness of cost monitoring and reconciliation
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety
• Ideally CSCS Black card, SSSTS or SMSTS
