Job summary

Swansea University is seeking a Workforce Tutor to deliver Welsh language courses to employees across various sectors. The role focuses on motivating, high-quality teaching and learner support, normally around 21 hours per week, face-to-face or online.

The successful candidate will teach from beginners to proficiency level, assess learners, and collaborate with colleagues within the Learn Welsh Swansea Bay Region network.

Qualifications

• High standard of Welsh and substantial experience teaching Welsh to adults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use digital technologies to support learning and informal learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Welsh language courses to employees across sectors.
• Assess and support learners; maintain high quality provision.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders; travel as needed; teach ~21 hours/week.
