A local government authority in Scarborough is seeking a proactive Workplace Supervisor to oversee property management and maintenance. The ideal candidate will ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and functional, while providing hands-on operational support. The role includes inspecting council buildings, managing contractors, and addressing maintenance issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential, alongside a full driving license. We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on individual to join us as aWorkplace Supervisorwithin our Commercial, Property, and Procurement team.
As part of the role, you’ll be out and about across a wide and varied property portfolio in theScarborough areamaking sure our buildings are safe, compliant, and ready to support vital public services. The council buildings include a variety of buildings from libraries to offices.
Whether it’s handling maintenance, ensuring health and safety standards, or responding to the occasional out-of-hours call, you’ll be trusted to take ownership and make decisions that matter.
