You’ll take ownership of the strategic planning and delivery of a new town centre hub, aligning with the Council’s wider transformation and Resident Access strategy. The role will also shape future satellite hubs across the borough.
About the Workplace & Resident Access Strategy Project Lead role:- Lead the development of a proposal for the town centre hub, engaging Directors and Heads of Service to scope and prioritise services to be co-located
- Develop a detailed delivery plan, outlining service requirements, space usage, and enabling technologies
- Collaborate with partner agencies to explore integrated delivery opportunities
- Track and report on project milestones, risk, and performance to stakeholders and governance boards
- Liaise with the Head of Construction to shape physical adaptations needed for the hub
Your previous experience as a Workplace & Resident Access Strategy Project Lead:- PRINCE2 Practitioner (or equivalent experience in large-scale transformation projects)
- Substantial project and change management experience within a complex, multi-service environment
- Ability to influence and challenge at senior levels to drive outcomes
- Proven ability to analyse, plan, and present clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations
- Previous delivery of community or resident-facing hubs/services in a local authority or public sector setting
- Understanding of co-location and partnership service models
- Experience overseeing capital adaptation works for service delivery
