The Company:

Our client is a busy, ambitious, and fast-growing main contractor with an established reputation within the greater Bristol area. Typical projects range from GBP100k to GBP400k, focusing on fitout and refurbishment projects across commercial sectors.

Working Foreman / Site Manager - The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trade professional (potentially carpentry or general builder with a relevant background) holding a valid SMSTS/SSTS certification to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be working on varied projects, typically ranging from GBP100k to GBP1m in project cost.

You will lead the site, being hands-on during busy periods or to set an example. The role also involves supervisory and managerial responsibilities. Projects may include fitting out kitchens or commercial properties and refurbishment jobs.

The Person:

• Valid SSTS or ideally SMSTS certificate
• First Aid Qualification (ideally, but the company can facilitate training)
• Demonstrable experience working on construction projects
• Trade qualification, ideally as a Carpenter
• Experience on projects up to GBP200k
• Experience managing sub-contractors and direct workforce
