Location: Woking & Surrounding Areas

ITS Building People is recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor specialising in commercial refurbishment projects within the education sector. We are seeking a hands-on Working Foreman with a strong carpentry background to oversee and actively participate in high-quality refurbishment works across schools in the Woking area.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake hands-on carpentry and general refurbishment tasks
  • Supervise and coordinate site teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations within school environments
  • Liaise with school representatives, site managers, and subcontractors
  • Carry out quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within carpentry and refurbishment
  • Strong background in internal and external refurbishment, particularly within schools
  • Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team
  • Valid CSCS card and SSSTS certification (essential)
  • Enhanced DBS check (desirable due to working in schools)
