Working Foreman

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED WORKING FOREMAN FOR AN ESTABLISHED BUILDER BASED IN THE SURREY AREA SPECIALISING IN DOMESTIC EXTENSIONS AND NEW BUILD HOUSES.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard.
2. Lead and work alongside tradespeople, ensuring efficiency and quality workmanship.
3. Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
4. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, office, and suppliers to maintain smooth project progression.
5. Ensure all work complies with building regulations, health & safety standards, company policies, and SOP's.
6. Problem-solve on-site issues and keep projects on schedule.
7. Carry out hands-on work when required, setting an example for the team.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Working Foreman in domestic extensions and new build houses.
2. Strong knowledge of all aspects of construction, including groundwork, brickwork, carpentry, roofing, and finishing trades.
3. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
5. A valid CSCS card (SMSTS or SSSTS qualification desirable).
6. Full UK driving licence.
7. Good communication skills.
