We are the Workforce Systems Information team, responsible for developing and maintaining BCUHB's Electronic Staff Record system (ESR), Establishment Control process and Workforce Information.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team, as aWorkforce Systems Support Administrator. The post holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive high quality administrative service.

When in post, the successful candidate will be provided with full training in relation to the area of work, and benefit from a wealth of experience and knowledge which the team hold. You will develop and demonstrate positive values, whilst working towards the organisations purpose to improve health and deliver excellent care.

Some elements of home working may be available for this post and this would be discussed at interview. Interviews will be held on site at Bryn y Neuadd hospital on Monday June 30th

Main duties of the job

To provide an effective comprehensive clerical and administrative support to Establishment Control, Workforce Systems and Information Teams across the range of duties and responsibilities, in order to ensure that the service is provided within defined quality standards as directed.

To undertake all aspects of the Establishment Control process, ensuring a proficient service is delivered. To communicate effectively via various channels, offering guidance and assistance where required. Provide insight to support the Establishment Control process in line with Key Performance Indicators.

To contribute to the Workforce Systems and Information Team and Governance Programme in ensuring the ESR database is cleansed, utilising the systems reporting mechanism to run various reports to support the completion of Key Performance Indicators.

Provide administrative cover for the wider team or providing assistance as necessary to meet any particular deadlines.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
  • NVQ level 3 in an administrative related field or Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP) or equivalent experience
  • ECDL or ability to demonstrate equivalent level of skills
  • Good standard of general education.
Experience
  • Knowledge of a range of administration and HR procedures, acquired through training and experience
  • Experience of working for the NHS
  • Knowledge of the Establishment Control, ESR /CAJE systems
  • Experience of training delivery
  • At least one year's experience of working in a HR environment
Skills
  • Excellent Administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to competing demands and deadlines, prioritising as necessary
