About the Team and the Role:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact within a vibrant and dynamic team? We are seeking two proactive and solution-focussed Workforce Support Officers to play an active role in our workforce service, co-designing, implementing, and delivering customer-focussed services that support the delivery of our people strategy and service offer.
The Strategic Workforce Planning and Recognition Service plays a vital role in supporting services to gain a deeper understanding of their workforce, anticipate future requirements, and develop comprehensive workforce plans. Working collaboratively from the initial stages through to implementation, the team partners with other HR services to redesign and develop teams, create effective solutions, and provide ongoing support to managers on workforce-related matters. We establish the strategic framework for leadership and performance, ensuring solutions are designed to meet both current and future needs. Additionally, the team manages key processes such as performance and appraisal frameworks and ensure that the achievements and contributions of the workforce are celebrated and recognised.

While these posts have separate areas of responsibility, there is an expectation that there will be some cross over and ability for cover.

We offer an agile working approach where there is a mix of working in the office and remotely. The current expectation is that we all work together in the office as a Service on a Monday, with flexibility to attend the office throughout the week as required.
