Avon and Somerset Police seeks a Workforce Planning Assistant to join the Workforce Planning Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will provide administrative and organisational support to the Head of Workforce Planning, helping deliver workforce plans and resourcing strategies.
You will coordinate activities, maintain records, and help produce reports to support decision-making across the organisation, including PCDA collectives, vacancies and establishment information.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workforce Planning Assistant to join our Workforce Planning Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Head of Workforce Planning, helping to ensure the effective delivery of workforce plans, resourcing strategies, directorate objectives, and the management of the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship programme.
Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you will assist with the coordination of workforce planning activities, maintain accurate records, and help produce reports and information to support decision-making across the organisation.

To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
