Position: Workforce Coordinator – Ophthalmology
Type: Full-time, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) or secondment.
The Workforce Coordinator will work closely with the medical management team to manage non-career grade doctors, specialist registrars, and middle/junior grades following the rollout of a full shift rota. Key responsibilities include coordinating leave for all grades of medical staff and ensuring adequate cover.
All roles in the Directorate aim to support the effective delivery of patient-focused healthcare. Staff are expected to be flexible and perform any tasks within their competence. Full training will be provided as needed.
Work with the management team and lead clinicians to maintain a full shift working pattern in line with service and training needs. Ensuring doctors comply with working time directives and do not exceed total working hours allowed by policy.
