The Opportunity
Role Summary:• HSF Kramer have identified a need for a Workday technical solutions and integrations expert to lead us on our journey of transformation and to manage our scope of our pre-existing Workday integrations and future technical product needs.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Systems team to help enhance and deliver innovative and practical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Additionally, they will collaborate with relevant teams to improve user experience and ensure that our Workday integrations continue to meet the evolving needs of the business.
• We have been live with Workday since November 2023, with our current suite of modules consisting of Core HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Talent & Performance, Core & Advanced Compensation and Peakon. This year we are also onboarding Prism.

• External third-party software vendors of Workday integrated platforms.

Key responsibilities:Your primary responsibilities include:
• Collaborating closely with the Workday Programme Manager to seamlessly implement new functionality and AI capabilities for product efficiency.
• Managing HSF Kramer's suite of Workday inbound/outbound integrations to ensure smooth digital data transfer globally.
• Leading the maintenance of current Workday integrations, assessing and configuring changes to existing architecture.
• Overseeing the design, development, and testing of new integration configurations and enhanced functionality.
• Continuously seeking opportunities to improve process efficiencies and operations within our technical infrastructure through a Workday lens.
• Acting as the go-to specialist for Workday integrations, providing both technical and strategic expertise.
• Advising HR SMT and the global HRIS team on integration requirements and building knowledge of pre-existing Workday integration infrastructure.
Engaging with internal stakeholders and external third-party vendors to ensure seamless client support delivery.
• Identifying and escalating risks promptly and developing and implementing workarounds where required.
• Leading the review of Workday bi-annual releases with relations to integrations.
• Managing the integration of front-end elements and the more complex programming and trouble-shooting elements of the Workday suite.
• Working closely with Data governance to ensure HR data is managed appropriately and safely.
Qualifications, skills and experience:• Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing and developing Workday Integrations with a professional understanding of general integration landscape.
• Experience designing, programming, and developing in Workday's Extend application with knowledge of JSON programming preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, experienced in communicating across various departments and audiences to ensure successful delivery of project initiatives whilst supporting the development and knowledge of others.
• Proven experience in Workday Integration Cloud and Workday Studio for developing complex integrations.
• Expertise in Workday Core Connectors and EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) for building integrations with Workday HCM and other third-party systems.
• Solid experience with Workday HCM modules and understanding of the Workday architecture and system functionality.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting, including creating custom reports & calculated fields.
• Passionate about driving transformation across system automation and efficiencies
• The ability to champion and promote best practice and increase Workday Technical Knowledge and capability across a global landscape.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration and data flow issues in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to write structured guidance to the business regarding matters of integrations
• A good knowledge of current Windows server operating environments, Active Directory and Group Policy
• Working effectively in a matrix-managed environment
• Demonstrable experience of supplier management and commercial acumen
Familiarity with current trends and recent developments in integration landscape
• ITIL Service Management Foundation certification (or equivalent) would be desirable but is not essential
