Job Title: Workday Specialist
Location: London
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £450 per day - PAYE via Umbrella

Job Description:
A Workday Specialist is responsible for designing and configuring Workday modules, implementing business rules, and customising the system based on business needs. You'll work in close partnership with a range of both external and internal stakeholders, to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and with seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones and maintain quality standards throughout the lifecycle.
  • Serve as the central point of contact.
  • Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations across all levels of the organisation.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record managing end-to-end Workday implementations.
  • Deep understanding of Workday solutions and implementation best practices.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities


Accountabilities:

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and
  • ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organisation's technology communities to foster a culture of
  • technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design,
  • readability, and reliability.
