Hastings Direct is undergoing a major transformation of its Finance systems, using Workday to streamline operations. As a Workday Solution Architect, you will shape the future of our financial technology landscape on the Workday platform.

You will lead architecture definition, design integrations, and ensure alignment with the wider technology strategy, while enjoying a flexible hybrid working model and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Understanding of insurance subledger accounting and data modelling concepts.
• Experience designing Workday integrations using modern patterns.
• Knowledge of Workday reporting tools (Report Writer, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, Office Connect).
• Familiarity with multiple Workday Financials modules: PRISM, Accounting Centre, GL, AP, AR, Projects, Expenses.

• Lead the definition of target architecture and standards across the Workday platform.
• Design and support delivery of Workday solutions aligned to target architecture.

Role Overview

What does the role involve? We’re undertaking a major transformation of our Finance systems, using Workday to streamline, simplify and strengthen how we operate. As a Workday Solution Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial technology landscape on the Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the definition of our target architecture, best practices, patterns and standards across the Workday platform
• Working with project teams in designing and supporting the delivery of Workday solutions that align to our target architecture and support the successful implementation of all changes
• Work closely with architects in the team to ensure Workday compliments and integrates across the wider technology landscape and strategy

Desired Skills

• Understanding of insurance subledger accounting, data lineage, foundational data modelling, inc. Worktags and chart of accounts design.
• Experience in designing Workday integrations, using modern patterns and tooling.
• Knowledge of Workday reporting — Report Writer, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets and Office Connect.
• Working knowledge across several of the following Workday Financials modules: PRISM / Accounting Centre General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Business Assets Projects Expenses
