We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant to lead test execution efforts for a Workday payroll implementation. The ideal candidate will define parallel payroll test processes, lead payroll cutover activities, execute test scenarios, and analyze test results to ensure a smooth transition to the new payroll system. A good understanding of Workday HCM, Time, Benefits, and Compensation is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Test Execution: Manage end-to-end test efforts for Workday Payroll, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
• Define Parallel Payroll Testing Strategy: Develop and implement a testing strategy to compare legacy and Workday payroll results accurately.
• Execute Test Scenarios: Design, document, and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end payroll test scenarios.
• Payroll Cutover Planning & Execution: Lead activities to ensure a seamless transition from the legacy system to Workday Payroll.
• Analyze Parallel Test Results: Compare payroll calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Defect Management: Log, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with payroll, HR, and IT teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with HR, payroll, finance, and IT teams to align testing strategies with business needs.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure payroll processes comply with local regulations and industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Workday Payroll Expertise: Proven experience in Workday Payroll implementation, including processing, configuration, and testing.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience leading payroll testing efforts, including parallel testing and cutover planning.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Project Leadership: Experience managing testing efforts, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication within a Workday payroll project.
• Technical & Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll integrations, compliance, and statutory requirements.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
