Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Workday Integrations & Analytics Specialist to join our People Technology Solutions team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the full lifecycle of Workday integrations as well as supporting data analytics and dashboarding needs within Workday. You will partner closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and actionable reporting that supports data-driven decision making.

In addition to core integrations work, you will collaborate with the People Tech Solutions Product Owner and Workday SME to provide occasional functional configuration support as needed.

What you will do

Workday Integrations:

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations across multiple functional areas (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation).
• Develop and support a variety of integration types (Including: EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom reports).
• Lead the delivery and maintenance of Workday integrations with external providers and third-party vendors.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures and incidents, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex integration issues.
• Coordinate tenant management activities related to integrations in partnership with AMS and Workday.
• Work closely with HR Operations, Payroll, and IT to ensure integrations support accurate data flows and compliance with security and privacy standards.
• Evaluate Workday releases for integration impacts and lead related change management, testing, and deployments.
• Maintain detailed integration documentation, data mappings, and technical support materials.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Partner with HR and business leaders to translate data needs into actionable dashboards and reports in Workday.
• Build and maintain advanced Workday dashboards, scorecards, and analytics to support HR, leadership, and compliance reporting needs.
• Leverage Adaptive Planning, Calculated Fields, Composite Reports, and Workday Drive (if applicable) to develop effective data solutions.
• Collaborate with Analytics & Insights team to align Workday reporting outputs with broader enterprise data strategies.
• Ensure data integrity and alignment between Workday and downstream systems for reporting purposes.

Functional Support:

• Provide occasional Workday functional configuration support (business processes, condition rules, security roles, calculated fields) in partnership with the People Tech Solutions Product Owner and Workday SME.
• Support system testing, validation, and release deployment for both integrations and functional changes.
• Assist in Workday security design related to integrations, data access, and reporting permissions.

Who you are:

• Significant hands-on Workday integrations experience including design, build, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs, and Web Services.
• Solid understanding of Workday data model, security framework, and business processes.
• Demonstrated experience developing advanced Workday dashboards, matrix and composite reports, and analytics (Composite Reporting, Calculated Fields, Worksheets, etc.).
• Prior experience delivering and maintaining Payroll integrations is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration and reporting solutions.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to working with HR, IT, and external vendors.
• Workday certifications in Integrations, Reporting, or Studio strongly preferred.
