The business are seeking an experienced Senior WorkdayIndividual to join them on a Full Time Permanent basis in a Leadership position to Own the Workday Platform, Drive user adoption, Steer & Deliver the Workday Roadmap whilst driving the Workday & People Systems Strategy.
Job Title: Workday HRIS Lead
Location: Hybrid Working (3 days per week in London)
Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 per annum + bonus + benefits
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Workday professional to join the team as the Head of Workday. This individual will take full ownership and leadership across the Workday HCM Suite, demonstrating expertise in Workday HCM, Recruiting, Core & Advanced Compensation, Learning, Benefits, Absence, and Talent + Performance. You will be instrumental in leading the organization through the post-go-live phase and the ongoing optimization of Workday, ensuring the platform is stable, effective, and continuously improving.
As the business transitions to full Workday HCM implementation, you will lead stabilization efforts, drive internal projects forward, and identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements. The goal is to ultimately achieve full optimization of the system.

- Articulating the Ability and prior experience to Design the Workday & People Systems Strategy whilst driving/spearheading the Workday Roadmap forward in a newly live environment
- Demonstrating the ability to truly optimise the Workday system & championing the product across the organisation
- Drive regular processes forward for the system in terms of new releases and new functionality
- Highlighting a background of implementation for further modular or geographical roll-out whether that’s Phase 1, 2 or X projects
- The ability to embed the team whilst having the willingness and capability to work autonomously and independently when/where necessary
- Clearly articulate your Workday Modular knowledge across the HCM Suite highlighting key areas/modules of strength & showing a willingness and ability to learn new modules of the system
- Stakeholder liaison regardless of where people sit within the business – HR, IT, Finance showing true People skills
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Lead the Workday and People systems strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term goals.
- Workday Expertise: Serve as the senior point of contact for all things Workday, including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Learning, and Benefits, with a strong track record in data integrity and system management.
- Workday Roadmap Execution: Drive and manage the execution of the Workday roadmap through 2025 and beyond.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small, focused team of Workday professionals.
- Post-Implementation Support: Ensure the stability of the Workday platform after go-live, including troubleshooting and ongoing improvements.
- Phase 2 Leadership: Take ownership of Phase 2 project(s), enhancing and optimizing Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation).
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous system and process improvements, optimizing functionality and efficiency across Workday modules.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the Workday platform meets organizational needs, addressing challenges and driving improvements.
- Expert Guidance: Provide guidance and support to maximize the utilization of Workday features, championing adoption and ROI across the business.
Requirements:- Extensive Experience: 5+ years of senior leadership experience, with a proven track record in shaping and executing Workday strategy and roadmap.
- Workday Expertise: Deep knowledge of configuring complex business processes across Workday HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Absence, Talent, Core & Advanced Compensation, and Benefits.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data integrity and analytics.
- Change Management: Proven ability to drive change management, user adoption, and system optimization.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Experience in optimizing and enhancing Workday systems to increase adoption, efficiency, and overall organizational effectiveness.
