Job summary

A recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Business Analyst for a 6-month contract in London. The role involves end-to-end process design, leading analysis, and ensuring efficient configuration choices of Workday best practices. Ideal candidates have strong project experience with Workday HCM and must be able to engage effectively with stakeholders. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in central London.

Qualifications

  • Proven Business Analysis experience on large-scale Workday programmes.
  • At least two full Workday HCM deployments.
  • Deep understanding of HCM business processes and Workday configuration principles.

Workday HCM Business Analyst

Role Type: 6-month contract (outside IR35)

Location: Hybrid (London-based, minimum of 2 days a week in central London)

Our client is delivering an exciting Workday transformation programme covering FINS, HCM and PSA. They are looking for an experiencedWorkday HCM Business Analyst/Consultantto join them.

You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering end-to-end HCM processes, helping the business to adopt Workday’s best practice.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, SMEs and the SI partner.
  • Lead end-to-end business process analysis and design across HCM domains including Core HCM, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Recruitment, Learning, Absence etc.
  • Contribute to Workday configuration workbooks (business processes, validations, rules, etc.).
  • Prepare and support testing – from planning and scenario design to execution.
  • Support change and training activities in collaboration with the Change Manager and SI.
  • Confidently challenge both business and SI to ensure alignment with Workday best practices and efficient configuration choices.

Experience required:

  • Proven Business Analysis experience on large-scale Workday programmes.
  • At least two full Workday HCM deployments
  • Deep understanding of HCM business processes and Workday configuration principles.
  • Strong process design, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
